Urgently Wanted -new gardeners to participate!!
Are you a keen gardener with an interest in helping to raise monies for charity? We are always looking for new gardens to participate in the scheme, which is organised by the National Garden Scheme (NGS). Each year the NGS raises more than £3 million in support of a wide range of nursing & health charities, including Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Support, Hospice UK, Carers Trust, The Queen’s Nursing Institute and Parkinson’s UK.
Your Commitment
To open your garden to the public on a single day every one to two years. All signage, tickets, stationery, publicity etc will be provided. The entry fee for the public will be £7 next year, which provides access to all other participating gardens in the village. Children under 14 enjoy free entry.
Your garden does not need to be a horticultural masterpiece. We welcome owners with gardens of all styles, shapes and sizes from a courtyard upwards. All you need to provide is a friendly welcome and an interest in showing visitors around your plot - large or small.
Interested?
Please contact the local organiser for Berkswell and Balsall Common who will be happy to discuss any questions you may have and arrange a visit to see your garden.
